Till now, Android smartphone users were able to play only those games for free, which were available for free on the Play Store. But now the situation is about to change. Google Play Store Working on a new feature, after which users will be able to try even expensive paid games for free before purchasing them.

What was the rule till now?

Currently, there are two types of games available on Google Play Store: free games and one-time purchase games. In free games, the user can play without paying money, but they have the hassle of advertisements or in-app purchases. Whereas, in one-time purchase games, the user has to pay money once, after which all the modes, characters and features of the game are unlocked. The problem till now was that there was no option to try such paid games before purchasing them. If the game was not liked, the user’s money was wasted.

What is Try Before You Buy feature?

To overcome this problem, Google ‘Try Before You Buy’ Working on a new feature named. As the name suggests, this feature will allow users to play any paid game for free for a limited time before purchasing it. This will be a limited-time free trial, the duration of which will be with the game developer. As soon as the trial starts, the time counting will start and during this time the user will get full access to the game.

What benefit will users get?

The biggest advantage of this new feature will be that the user will be able to decide in advance whether a game is worth spending his money or not. Till now, if you did not like a game after purchasing it, you could not get your money back.

But now the user will be able to take a decision only after trying the game for free. If he likes the game then he can buy it, and if not then not a single penny will be spent. This will especially benefit students and lower middle class users.

When will this feature be launched?

At present, Google has not revealed the launch date of this feature, but according to reports, its rollout may start soon. Once this feature arrives, the mobile gaming experience could completely change.
