Indian off-spinner Sneh Rana bowled the most expensive over in the history of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) during Delhi Capitals’ match against Gujarat Giants at the D.Y. Patil Stadium Navi Mumbai on Sunday.

Sneh conceded 32 runs in the last over of the PowerPlay, with Gujarat Giants opener Sophie Devine smashing the spinner for two consecutive fours and four back-to-back sixes.

Sneh’s 32-run over went past Deepti Sharma’s 28-run over, which was previously the most expensive over in the tournament’s history. Deepti, playing for UP Warriorz against Royal Challengers Bengaluru last season, had conceded three sixes and two fours during the over.
