Haryana News: A sensation spread in Haryana’s Jhajjar district on Sunday evening when a 74-year-old man was shot after entering his house in village Kablana. The bullet hit the old man near his waist, seriously injuring him. The family members immediately took him to Civil Hospital, Jhajjar, where seeing his condition was serious, the doctors referred him to Rohtak PGI.

According to the information received, the incident occurred around 7 pm on Sunday evening. Suddenly there was chaos in the village due to the sound of gunshot. Hearing the sound, people nearby reached the spot and saw that 74-year-old Jagjit Singh was lying on the cot in a bloody state. The bullet had hit him in his waist and he was bleeding profusely.

Fear of attack due to old rivalry

Family members and villagers say that this attack was carried out due to old enmity. It is being told that about two years ago, the matter of the old man’s grandson with a village girl came to light, after which a settlement was reached through the Panchayat. However, now there is a suspicion of attacking people to the same dispute.

Hospitalized, condition critical

Immediately after the incident, the family members and villagers took the old man to Jhajjar Civil Hospital. After first aid, seeing his serious condition, the doctors referred him to Rohtak PGI. At present, the treatment of the elderly is going on and his condition remains critical.

Police engaged in investigation

As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation. Police have collected evidence from the spot and people nearby are being interrogated. Police officials say that the case is being investigated from every angle and soon the accused will be identified and action will be taken.
