Mumbai Mahayuti has released its manifesto on Sunday regarding Mumbai Municipal Corporation Election. Let us tell you that this manifesto has been issued by Mahayuti just 4 days before voting. This manifesto has been released in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy CM Eknath Shinde and Republican Party of India (Athawale) chief Ramdas Athawale. Mahayuti has made many promises in its manifesto. These include major promises like improvement of roads, underground development, traffic management, 24×7 clean water supply, and rain water harvesting.

This work will be done regarding roads


It was said in the manifesto that the roads where there is less traffic, there should be asphalt and where there is more traffic, there should be asphalt. Cement concrete (CC) roads will be built there. Utility ducts will be built under the roads, so that there will be no need to dig roads again and again in future. A special action plan will be implemented for the acquisition of DP Road (Development Plan Road).


Private layout roads will be asphalted and regularly maintained. To reduce the hassle caused by constant digging in Mumbai, excavation will be coordinated across 15 service areas and utility tunnels will be developed in 15 service areas.


Community parking will be created for parking on the roads. Also, smart and motorized parking system will be implemented. To increase parking capacity in the city, underground and above ground (multi-level) parking will be developed.

Digital cards will be installed on the roads


Digital information boards will be installed on the roads so that citizens can get traffic information. These digital boards will help in providing real-time traffic status, road blockage and construction work information to the drivers.


All footpaths for pedestrians and disabled citizens of the city will be developed in standard concrete. With this, right to walk will be ensured to the citizens. All the open spaces of the city will be maintained only by the Municipal Corporation. A special support policy will be made for care and maintenance. Local civic organizations and ALMs (Advanced Local Managements) will be given the role of caretakers.


water problem will be solved


In the manifesto of Mahayuti, it has also shared its plan to solve the water problem of Mumbai. In this, it has been promised to complete Gargai, Drinking Water and Damanganga projects in the next five years. It has been announced to spend Rs 17 thousand crore under special schemes for environmental protection.

The current water supply capacity is 3,800 MLD, which will be increased to 4,900 MLD. For this, water projects like Gargai, Pinjal, Damanganga will be completed in the next 5 years. With the help of modern technology, the entire water system will be modernized and its capacity will be increased, due to which additional water will be available to Mumbaikars.


There will be strictness on Rohingya and Bangladeshis


Mahayuti made it clear in its manifesto that Rohingyas and Bangladeshis will not be allowed to live in Mumbai in any way. To strengthen the Marathi language, it has been announced to create a separate Marathi department, Marathi art center and practice in the municipality. Special programs and financial provisions will be made for Marathi youth on the occasion of the birth centenary of Balasaheb Thackeray.
