Health Desk. Nowadays many people do not pay attention to the small pulse of their health, but the body warns us through many signals. If foam or froth is seen in the urine then it is not right to take it lightly. This may be a sign of many health problems. Let us know three main reasons which need attention.
1. Kidney or kidney problem
Persistent foaming in urine often indicates kidney problems. When the kidneys do not function properly or there is an infection, the amount of protein in the urine increases. This produces foamy urine. Along with this, there may also be complaints like fatigue, swelling in the legs or under the eyes.
2. UTI (Urinary Tract Infection)
Foam in urine can also be a sign of urinary tract infection (UTI). This is especially common in women. In UTI, problems like burning sensation while urinating, frequent urge to urinate and mild fever can also occur. If the infection is not treated timely, it can spread to the kidneys, which can become a serious condition.
3. Dehydration or lack of water
Sometimes foam in urine can also form due to lack of water in the body or dehydration. When the body doesn’t get enough water, urine appears thick and foamy. Along with this, problems like dryness of skin, fatigue and headache may also be felt.
things to note
If foam appears in the urine for two to three consecutive days and other symptoms also occur, contact a doctor as soon as possible. Drink adequate amount of water and avoid junk food or high salt diet. Blood in urine, bad smell or change in color can also be a sign of a serious problem, do not ignore it.
