Viineet Kumar Siingh: Anurag Kashyap’s sports drama “Mukkabaaz” was Viineet Kumar Siingh’s big-screen debut. Viineet reflected on his cinematic career in an emotional message in Hindi on Monday, the project’s eighth anniversary of release.

He said that the film not only helped him become an actor but also gave him confidence in his own abilities and voice.
According to Viineet, “Mukkabaaz” in 2018 set the groundwork for all he has accomplished with his most recent albums, including “Chhaava” and “Superboys of Malegaon.”
On his official Instagram account, he said, “My identity today, my cinema today, and that journey in 2025 that gave me a new place in films…” as a reflection of his journey. Mukkabaaz is the foundation of all of them. I learned to believe in myself, my narrative, my inner voice, and my time from this movie, which also helped me become a better actor. Because things alter when faith is alive. (sic)
Viineet also expressed gratitude to everyone who had supported him along the way and to those who, for whatever reason, were unable to stand by him but nonetheless offered him love and advice.I am thankful today to everyone who put their faith in me and this movie. Those who made it their own, and those who waited for me. And I want to express my gratitude to everyone who supported me but was unable to do so for work-related reasons; their love, bravery, and wisdom strengthened me. Mukkabaaz becomes eight years old today.”It feels great,” he continued.
Released on January 12, 2018, “Mukkabaaz” starred debutante Zoya Hussain, Ravi Kishan, and Jimmy Shergill. It received favorable reviews at its premiere, with Viineet’s performance garnering particular recognition.
