Amla has always been considered a superfood. Its consumption in winter is considered very beneficial for health. It is consumed in different ways in winter. But it takes a lot of hard work for people to make it. Whereas diabetic patients avoid consuming it. But do you know that it can also be made without jaggery or sugar. It is very easy to make it. Gooseberry

step 1 – Wash the gooseberry thoroughly and dry it. Now with the help of a fork, make deep holes all around in the gooseberries. This will allow the syrup to reach inside.
Step 2 – Heat water in a vessel and place a sieve over it and steam the gooseberries for 5-7 minutes. Be careful not to soften them too much, just change the color slightly.
Step 3 – Add boiled gooseberries and ground sugar candy in a heavy bottom pan. Do not put water in it at all. Keep stirring it on low flame.
Step 4 – As the sugar candy melts, it will take the form of syrup. Cook it on low flame until the syrup becomes thick like honey and the color of the gooseberries becomes golden.
Step 5 – Finally add cardamom powder, black salt and saffron and turn off the gas. Then pour it into an air tight container and store it.
