Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were given special honor in Vadodara before the first ODI between India and New Zealand. To make the international match being played for the first time at the BCA Stadium memorable, both the legends were congratulated in a unique way. A special ceremony was organized with the pictures of Rohit and Virat, seeing which the fans also looked very excited.


India’s two biggest cricket stars Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli received a special honor at the BCA Stadium in Vadodara on Sunday, January 11. This felicitation ceremony was organized before the first ODI match being played between India and New Zealand. This stadium is hosting its first match of men’s international cricket, so an effort was made to make the occasion more special.


Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were honored by BCA in a unique ‘coming-out’ style. Both players were brought onto the stage coming out of a closet decorated with their photographs. After coming out, Rohit and Virat signed their respective pictures, which made the moment even more memorable.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have taken Indian cricket to new heights in the last several years and have given memorable performances for India in all three formats. Recently, India had defeated South Africa 2-1 and now the eyes of the fans are once again on these two senior players.


Talking about the match, New Zealand, batting first, scored 301 runs in 50 overs. For the Kiwi team, Daryl Mitchell played the biggest innings of 84 runs in 71 balls. While Devon Conway contributed 56 runs and Henry Nicholls contributed 62 runs.


Talking about Indian bowlers, Mohammed Siraj, Harshit Rana and Prasidh Krishna took 2 wickets each, while Kuldeep Yadav got one success.
