A star-studded Netflix movie is now available to stream.

So far in 2026, Netflix has released the People We Meet on Vacation rom-com movie directed by Brett Haley and starring Emily Bader and Tom Blyth. As far as television goes, the streaming platform has also released Harlan Coben’s Run Away, His & Hers with Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal, and more.

What star-studded Netflix movie is now available to stream?

As of today, Netflix subscribers can check out the company’s most star-studded movie of 2026 so far, as The Rip is now available to stream.

The Rip stars Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Kyle Chandler, Scott Adkins, Sasha Calle, Néstor Carbonell, and Lina Esco.

“Upon discovering millions in cash in a derelict stash house, trust among a team of Miami cops begins to fray,” the synopsis reads. “As outside forces learn about the size of the seizure, everything is called into question — including who they can rely on.”

The movie is written and directed by Joe Carnahan, whose previous filmography includes titles such as 2006’s Smokin’ Aces, 2010’s The A-Team, 2011’s The Grey, 2020’s Boss Level, 2021’s Copshop, 2025’s Shadow Force, and more. Damon and Affleck’s Artists Equity studio produces The Rip.

“Working with Matt and Ben and having two, distinctly talented filmmakers, as both creative allies and the studio heads, wound up being the best of both worlds,” Carnahan told Tumdu. “I’ve never had as easy an experience on a movie as I had on The Rip. They took exceptionally good care of me and backed my decisions every step of the way.

“…The Rip came out of a deeply personal experience that my friend went through, both as a father and as head of tactical narcotics for the Miami Dade police department. It’s inspired in part by his life and then, by my enduring love for those classic ‘70’s cop thrillers that really valued the character and interpersonal relationships and became touchstones of that era — films like Serpico and Prince of The City and more recently, Michael Mann’s Heat.”
