The latest episode of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ picks up from the turn of events of the last episode. Vani’s truth comes out in front of everyone, and Armaan feels confused as to why Abhira never told him who Vani’s parents were. The episode starts with Vidya talking to Vani and asking her about why she created chaos at the party. Dadi Sa sees all of this and asks Vidya whether she knew who Vani was. When she remains silent, Dadi Sa realizes that, along with Abhira, Vidya also knew the truth.



Abhira and Armaan fight over Meher’s case and Vani’s truthThe scene shifts to Armaan and Abhira fighting over why she could not tell him the truth. He asks her why she could not trust him. This back and forth eventually leads to Abhira blurting out the truth, revealing that Vani’s father was innocent, and Meher killed him in anger. She reveals that Armaan made a mistake for the first time as a lawyer and ended up defending a murderer.



Abhira further adds that all of the witnesses had been paid a bribe by the Mittal family, which is why the truth never came out, and he was able to win the case. Armaan starts blaming himself, while Dadi Sa consoles him and tells him that whatever he was doing was for the law firm only. She blames Anita for everything, though Abhira defends her, saying that there was no other choice for her at the time.



Armaan has a breakdown and leaves the house quietly.



Meher threatens to kill Vani and AbhiraAll of the family members slowly come to know the truth. Meher and her father also realize what has happened. While Mittal tells his daughter to stay calm and stay away from Abhira and Vani, Meher instead vows to kill them both before she will let the truth come out.



Tanya and Krish also have an altercation after she realizes that he did everything on purpose to ruin the party.



Armaan almost ends his lifeLater in the show, Armaan locks himself in the bathroom while Abhira tries to get him to open the door. He contemplates ending his life by drawing in the bathtub; however, the scene shifts to a distraught Maira and Vani. While Vani is crying while looking at a family photo, Maira is seen cutting into her clothes.



The episode comes to an end as Maira tells Abhira that she does not like Vani and does not wish for her to stay with them. Furthermore, the promo for the next episode shows that Armaan is planning to reopen the case to get to the truth.
