On Friday, copper came at Rs 1290 per kg on Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX). On January 15, the price of copper in the market was Rs 1,325 per kg. That means there was a slight improvement after the fall in prices. However, market experts have already predicted the rise in copper prices. Apart from this, the price of copper in the international market became 5.8485 per ounce.

There was a significant increase in the rate of copper in the year 2025. Compared to gold and silver, the prices of copper are also increasing rapidly.

Tariff
Rumors are also spreading in the market that in the coming time, America may impose a tariff of 15% to 30% on copper imports. Due to these rumours, companies have started stockpiling more copper. Due to this surge in demand, prices are also being affected. Because supply remains limited and demand remains high.
