Since their engagement ceremony in Hanoi in January 2025, Nhi has largely stepped away from show business, appearing only occasionally at events alongside members of her future husband’s family. Netizens also noted that she had deactivated her social media accounts.

Nhi represented Vietnam at the Miss International 2023 pageant, where she placed in the top 15. She has previously shared that her parents run a small household goods business.

Hoang currently heads an automobile company. His father Pham Nhat Vuong has an estimated net worth of US$29.7 billion as of Jan. 14, according to Forbes.

The couple are believed to have known each other for many years.
