Emma Raducanu will appear at the Australian Open with a bid to secure her second Grand Slam title. However, the Brit will likely have to deal with romance rumours plaguing her throughout the tournament.
The British No. 1 has been the subject of considerable speculation surrounding her love life over the years. Despite her parents enforcing a boyfriend ban during her formative years and a relationship with billionaire Carlo Agostinelli, Raducanu has been linked to plenty of tennis stars. Here, Express Sport has detailed some of the biggest headlines surrounding the 23-year-old's romances.
Split from billionaire boyfriendRaducanu began dating Carlo Agostinelli in 2023, who is the son of tycoon Robert Agostinelli, the co-owner and chairman of private equity firm Rhone Group. The couple were spotted together at Paris Fashion Week and went on various lavish holidays together.
However, it was reported that the pair had split just a year later, with Raducanu blocking Agostinelli from her social media. A source told The Sun: "Emma has 2.4million followers on Instagram, but Carlo is no longer one of them. It seems their relationship has run its course."
Raducanu was linked with Alcaraz in 2025 after the pair teamed up for the US Open. The duo were clearly good friends, but speculation stirred after the Spaniard admitted he was looking for a partner.
Speaking in 2024, Alcaraz said: "I am looking for someone. It can be difficult as a tennis player to meet the right person because you are travelling all the time."
However, Raducanu squashed these rumours by confirming their friendship ahead of their mixed doubles match at the US Open. She said: "It is nice and I think, for all of us, we really value those connections that we had from when we were young.
"Because when you become a bit more known or a bit more successful, you just find yourself reverting back to people you knew from a young age and because that's a real genuine connection, because it becomes very busy and you have a lot more friends - but the ones that you've known for a long time mean a lot more to you.
"I remember he beat Stef [Tsitsipas] in the third round and it was like a big win, his breakout win on a big stage and it was really cool to kind of go through that tournament together. We have a good relationship still. He's obviously overtaken me a lot, but it's nice we have that from a while ago."
Cameron Norrie rumours Alcaraz isn't the only tennis star Raducanu has been rumoured to be dating. Britain's Cameron Norrie was dragged into the spotlight when he was asked if he was dating the tennis sensation. But he quickly shut down the suggestion.
Raducanu was frustrated by the line of questioning as she told The Guardian: "Yeah, and Cam's questions, too. That was terrible. Terrible."
Reflecting on the continued interest in her love life, the 23-year-old added: "I know, I know. I guess I'm like, it comes with the territory, people being so curious. I think they're more curious about this news than any tennis results and tennis news.
"But I just keep myself to myself, my private life to one side. It's always funny when people try to find something out, but I try not to read into it so much."
