Hyderabad: The Event Technical Committee of the ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026 has approved Rehaan Ahtif as a replacement for Dylan Thakrar in the Tanzania squad.

Ahtif was named as a replacement after Thakrar was ruled out due to an injury to his left middle finger during their second Group D match against South Africa. He has been declared unable to continue his participation in the remainder of the tournament.

The replacement of a player requires the approval of the Event Technical Committee before the replacement can be officially added to the squad.
