TES-H2 is one of the world's largest international synthetic methane producers, with commercial operations in several countries. During the meeting the company shared information about its global outlook and projects being conducted in India.
The discussion highlighted the growing role of synthetic methane in the maritime transportation sector, India's future emergence as a major LNG importer and the growing national focus on biogas and clean fuels as an alternative to gas-based power generation.
Additional Chief Secretary Shri Manu Srivastava said that the Hazira–Vijaypur–Jagdishpur (HVJ) gas pipeline passing through the state and sources of biogenic CO₂ from agro-based industries like sugarcane provide a strong base for the development of low carbon intensity fuels.
Both sides agreed to continue dialogue to identify potential pilot projects and new avenues of cooperation in line with India's clean fuel transition and Madhya Pradesh's low-carbon development goals.
The discussion reflects the Madhya Pradesh government's resolve to partner with global clean energy companies to advance next generation fuels and sustainable industrial solutions.
