A UK restaurant group known for its delicious food and luxurious atmosphere has been officially appointed an administrator by the High Court. Jimmy's Restaurant and Bar Mediterranean Limited, which operates two restaurants - Regina's Bar & Restaurant and Noel's Bar & Restaurant in Birmingham - had Sandra Fender of Sanderlings LLP appointed as administrator on January 14.

The restaurants are known for their creative dishes and elegant ambience, and boast impressive ratings of over 4 out of 5 stars on TripAdvisor.

It is not known specifically why the company has gone into administration, with the notice on Insolvency Intel only confirming that administrators have been appointed. However, trading at both sites is continuing as usual.

Regina's Bar & Restaurant is located on Newhall Street. It is open seven days a week with its operating hours from 12pm to 11pm from Monday to Thursday, 12pm to 2am on Fridays and Saturdays and 12pm to 10pm on Sundays.

The Italian restaurant offers a range of menus from including Bar Tapas, a sweet selection, and its popular bottomless brunch. Customers on TripAdvisor have commended the "excellent" staff, service, and food.

One person wrote: "The food was so tasty and well presented. The decor is sophisticated and elegant. I like the sister restaurant, Noel's Bar, but this venue has a completely different vibe which resonated well with me. Looking forward to many future visits."

While Noel's Bar & Restaurant on Waterfront Walk also opens seven times a week, it operates shorter opening hours, closing at 10pm between Monday and Thursday, 10:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 9:30pm on Sundays.

Similarly to its sister restaurant, chefs at the luxury food spot "handcraft each dish with precision, drawing inspiration from the diverse flavours of Italy, Spain, Greece, and beyond", and the restaurant is also highly praised for its atmosphere, food quality, and 'flawless' service.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars on TripAdvisor, one visitor said: "The best bottomless lunch that offered great tasting food, drinks and service. I've done a few bottomless brunches, and this is by far the best.

"The food was super tasty (the gravy was divine) and the drinks included were great, with excellent red/white wine and cocktails. The service was excellent too. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Would recommend."
