End of Friendship? Yuzvendra Chahal and RJ Mahvash Unfollow Each Other on Instagram
In a surprising turn of events, Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and content creator RJ Mahvash have unfollowed each other on Instagram, sparking fresh speculation online.
The development was first reported on Wednesday by paparazzi handle Varinder Chawla, who noted that the two had earlier followed each other on the platform but have now cut ties digitally.
While the exact reason behind their decision to unfollow one another remains unclear, social media users are abuzz with theories about a possible fallout between the two.

For those unaware, Chahal and Mahvash’s equation has long been a topic of discussion, especially after the cricketer’s divorce from choreographer Dhanashree Verma in 2025. Rumours of a possible romantic relationship between Chahal and Mahvash had gained momentum as they were frequently spotted together in public. However, both consistently maintained that they were only good friends.
Last year, during her appearance on the reality show Rise and Fall, Dhanashree Verma made serious allegations against Chahal, claiming that he cheated on her just two months into their marriage. She said that she had noticed a change in his behaviour soon after their engagement but chose to trust him and the relationship. “I kept giving chances to the people around me, but I eventually got tired. I tried everything from my side and gave my 100 per cent, but things still didn’t work out,” she said on the show.
Responding to these allegations, Chahal later told Hindustan Times that he had never been unfaithful. “I am a sportsperson and I do not cheat. If someone cheats within two months, would the relationship last that long? For me, this chapter is over—done and dusted. I have moved on with my life, and everyone else should too,” he stated.
