Brooklyn Peltz Beckham has received sympathy from his former academy football coach, who revealed he witnessed some "bizarre carry on" and a "strange dynamic" amid his explosive fallout with his family. The high-profile feud escalated this week with Brooklyn backing his wife Nicola Peltz and taking aim at Sir David Beckham and Victoria Beckham in a shocking turn of events.

Brooklyn, 26, released a bombshell statement calling out his parents, Davidand Victoria, and said he "does not want to reconcile" with them. Brooklyn slammed his family by alleging that they had gone to the press with stories about him, while a rift started surrounding his wedding and wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.

One of the biggest talking points from the statement is the claim Brooklyn made about his mother, Victoria, 51, accusing her of "hijacking" his first dance with Nicola and "dancing inappropriately on" him in front of their 500 wedding guests. He is currently the only family member to share his side of the messy feud, with sources revealing to the Mirror that he has 'no regrets' about speaking out.

With the family row plunged into the spotlight, an ex-football coach of Brooklyn's - from his teenage years - has highlighted what he noticed about their family dynamic. Brooklyn had trained with Queens Park Rangers in 2013, when he was aged just 14 years old, while attempting to make it in professional sport.

The official QPR Twitter (now X) account tweeted - at the time: "Contrary to reports, Brooklyn Beckham has been training at #QPR but has not joined our academy." In that time, he would have worked alongside McCool, a former academy coach at the London club, who has also spent time in scouting.

With all the drama surrounding Brooklyn and the falling out with his family, ex-QPR coach Anthony McCool took to LinkedIn to share his own experience on the Beckham family dynamic. He said: "Brooklyn Beckham getting piled on. But I felt sorry for the lad.

"I did see some bizarre carry on as his football coach at QPR & [I have] certainly seen the anxiety. He might have got this situation wrong, I'm not on either side because I don't know them & his parents were always polite to me. But I did witness myself a strange dynamic which is impossible for us to judge and predict how we would navigate it, both as parents and as a young person.

"My short window into that life left me some funny stories, also some sad ones and I realised how tough it must have been for the lad. Yet I had coached many lads of famous parents, mostly well-known footballers. But this spell was on another serious level.

"It would make a good chapter in my book. What it did do was open my eyes. Being super wealthy & famous isn't an automatic ticket to happiness. It's hard to 'sympathise' or empathise because most of us will never know.

"But being flanked by permanent security at 14, plus the many other things I seen made me realise I shouldn't judge because I haven't walked a mile in them shoes, or his parents to be fair. I am sure they will close ranks and resolve their differences. I hope so. (& David, thanks for paying me back that £6)."

The fallout from the family row is still being played out in the public eye, with questions remaining over whether the two parties will eventually make up.

It's a particularly raw situation, however, given the allegations made by Brooklyn towards his own family. In the wake of the comments from his son, David Beckham shared his own thoughts, speaking to CNBC's Squawk Box.

David said: "I've been able to use my platform and my following for Unicef, and it's been the biggest tool to make people aware of what's going on around the world for children. I've tried to do the same. I've tried to do the same with my children to educate them.

"They make mistakes. Children are allowed to make mistakes. That's how they learn. So that's what I try to teach my kids. But you know, you have got to sometimes let them make those mistakes, as well."
