'Parasakthi' is now seeing very low numbers at the box office.Sivakarthikeyan starrer collected only Rs 21 lakhs in India net on day 14.





The film has completed two weeks in theatres. SK film earned around Rs 43 lakhs on day 13.





The collections dropped further on day 14. The total India net collection of 'Parasakthi' now stands at Rs 51.29 crores as reported by the Sacnilk website.

The second week has been weak for the film. Week 2 collection is around Rs 14.83 crores and this shows a big drop compared to the first week.





Occupancy stays low



'Parasakthi' recorded an overall Tamil occupancy of 14.40% on the last day. Morning shows had only 11.97% occupancy. Afternoon shows improved slightly to 14.46%. Evening shows stayed low at 12.64%. Night shows were the best with 18.53% but even that was not strong.





Story, director, and cast details 'Parasakthi' is directed by Sudha Kongara. The film is a period drama set in the nineteen sixties. It talks about the anti-Hindi agitations in Tamil Nadu and is inspired by real events.





Sivakarthikeyan plays the lead role of a fiery activist. The film also stars Ravi Mohan, Sreeleela, Atharvaa, and Rana Daggubati in important roles.



Online reviews are mixed The film is getting decent reviews online. One review said, "Story-wise it's a period drama set in the nineteen sixties about those anti-Hindi agitations in Tamil Nadu which is inspired by real events. Sivakarthikeyan plays a fiery activist type and Sudha Kongara directs with her usual emotional punch but honestly it feels dragged out at over two hours. Dialogues aim for inspiring yet land cheesy and preachy almost like a school history lesson instead of a gripping film."





Another review praised the film strongly. It wrote, "A masterpiece from Sudha kongara & team. The movie goes around Student's opposition on hindi imposition and linguistic politics around it. Actor Ravi Mohan's villan role in the movie was a level ahead his hero roles he has ever done, no wonder if he gets national award for it. The film was full of goosebumps and will be a great meal for linguistic enthusiasts."





'Parasakthi' has crossed Rs 51 crores even with mixed reviews.
