Sivakarthikeyan and Sudha Kongara’s 'Parasakthi' is finding it very hard to survive at the box office.





The film collected only Rs 22 lakhs in India net on day 15 and this clearly shows that the movie is slowing down more with each passing day. There is no strong jump even during weekends.





Total collection so far 'Parasakthi' has collected Rs 82.75 Cr worldwide so far as per the Sacnilk website reports. The India net collection stands at Rs 51.55 Cr while the India gross collection is Rs 60.15 Cr. The overseas collection is Rs 22.6 Cr. These numbers are not very encouraging when compared to the expectations around the film.



Tamil day-wise performance



'Parasakthi' has earned most of its money from the Tamil version as the total Tamil net collection is Rs 51.55 Cr. SK film earned Rs 22 lakhs on the last day. Day 14 brought in Rs 25 lakhs. On day 13 the collection was Rs 43 lakhs.





Day 12 saw Rs 55 lakhs while day 11 earned Rs 60 lakhs. Each day is earning less than the previous one. There is no sign of growth or sudden rise.





OTT plans 'Parasakthi’s OTT rights have been bought by ZEE5 as reported by OTT Play While the exact OTT release date is not yet confirmed it is being said that the movie may arrive on the platform within 6 to 8 weeks after its theatrical release.

The film has a U/A certificate. It had earlier faced censor-related issues which caused a short delay in advance bookings. This may have affected its early momentum. On the positive side, the postponement of the Jana Nayagan movie helped Parasakthi to some extent. Because of this delay theatres were able to give more screens and better show timings to Sivakarthikeyan’s film. Still that advantage did not turn into strong box office numbers.





'Parasakthi' stars Sivakarthikeyan, Rana Daggubati, Ravi Mohan, Sreeleela, and Atharvaa. The film is directed by Sudha Kongara and despite a strong cast and a known director like Sudha Kongara the film could not hold audience interest for long.





'Parasakthi' is now moving ahead with very low daily collections and this makes it clear that the film shows no signs of revival.
