There are just ten days left in the winter transfer window, and there is still plenty of business that Premier League clubs need to complete before the 7pm deadline on 2 February.

Tottenham Hotspur have arguably been one of the most active clubs, having signed Conor Gallagher from Atletico Madrid after selling Brennan Johnson to Crystal Palace, and with talks now underway for Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson. Manchester City are the biggest spenders so far, having forked out £80million to sign Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth and Palace captain Marc Guehi.

Meanwhile, their rivals Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are yet to make a real splash. This window is a time to sign players for the second half of this season, but it is also a market where future deals can be put in place across Europe ahead of the summer.

The future of Cole Palmer is in the spotlight, with the player reportedly feeling homesick in London. A return to England for his former Man City teammate Julian Alvarez could also be on the cards, with Arsenal said to have held talks over the Argentina international.
