New Delhi: The Indian bowlers delivered a sensational performance as the hosts restricted New Zealand to 153/9 in the third T20I at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Sunday, January 25.
After put in to bat first, the visitors got off to a poor start as Harshit Rana removed Conway for 1 run in the first over, courtesy of Hardik Pandya’s spectacular catch. Ravindra hit a boundary and was dismissed by Hardik in the very next over.

Bumrah, who was rested in the second T20I, dismissed Tim Seifert for 12 runs as New Zealand only managed to score 36 runs in the power play. Mark Chapman and Glenn Phillips helped the Kiwis to recover, stitching a 52-run partnership for the fourth wicket.
Bishnoi then broke the partnership by removing Chapman for 32 runs in the 12th over. Daryl Mitchell looked good and smashed a boundary and maximums, but was removed by Hardik Pandya for 14 runs. Phillips fell two runs short of his fifty and was removed by Bishnoi for 48 runs.
The Kiwis kept losing wickets at regular intervals in the death overs and only managed to set a 154-run target. Jasprit Bumrah picked up three wickets, while Hardik and Bishnoi took two each.
