1. Green leafy vegetables


Green leafy vegetables like spinach, fenugreek and broccoli help in detoxifying the liver. The antioxidants and fiber present in them remove the toxins that damage the liver cells.


2. Beets and Carrots


Beets and carrots contain beta-carotene and phytochemicals, which are helpful in cleansing and rejuvenating the liver. Consuming them regularly increases the efficiency of the liver and protects it from diseases.


3. Garlic


A substance called allicin is found in garlic, which helps in reducing inflammation of the liver and flushing out toxins. Apart from this it also strengthens the immune system.


4. Green Tea


Green tea contains antioxidants called catechins, which protect liver cells and are helpful in reducing problems like fatty liver. 2-3 cups of green tea daily is considered beneficial for the liver.
