Married At First Sight UK fans have been left "bawling" over a major announcement shared by fan favourites John Shepherd and Abi Lindsay.
The pair are the only couple still together from the tenth series of the Channel 4 reality show where they wed during their very first meeting. While they were latecomers on their season, only making their debut in Episode 12, they sailed through to the end of the experiment unscathed.
Now, the beloved couple have shared a huge life update with their fans, revealing they will finally be moving in together, bringing an end to their long-distance arrangement. It will be the first time since the couple shared an apartment together during MAFS UK filming that they will have lived under the same roof long-term.
In a video shared on Instagram, the couple were seen packing up boxes which when stacked, displayed the message 'Moving in together'.
A caption alongside the video, posted on January 17, read: "We’re moving in together! One of us is packing our stuff into cardboard boxes, the other is making some extra space in the wardrobe. Yeaaaaa."
The sweet statement continued: "Thank god we’re saying byeeeee to long distance and hiii to waking up next to each other every day."
The couple's followers were delighted about the update, with one penning: "This is the absolute best news ever. You two are the cutest. Pure love and happiness. All the best." A second added: "Congratulations I’m just casually bawling with happiness don’t mind me."
A third shared: "How wonderful. Good luck for the future. Happiness and love do come from the programme despite all the bad press," to which Abi herself replied: "It was meant to be."
A fourth fan added: "I like how they took their time to progress their relationship. So happy they are still together."
Meanwhile the duo's MAFS UK co-star Dr Nelly Patel also weighed in with her well-wishes. Alongside crying emojis, she commented: "I love you guys so much. I can’t wait to see you in a couple of weeks."
Abi now boasts 159,000 Instagram followers alongside John's 101,000, with the happy couple frequently sharing updates about their blossoming bond.
They recently sent their fanbase into a frenzy with a 'special announcement' video on New Year's Eve. In the footage the couple were all smiles as John addressed viewers, saying: "We are very pleased to announce that we're expecting..." before taking a long pause as Abi beamed next to him.
The footage was then edited to show the pair in the same position but dressed as The Addams Family characters Morticia and Gomez as John continued his sentence: " - a fantastic New Year's Eve party."
