Marking the special day, the director shared a note where he looked back at the film’s journey and called it his finest work till date. He also revealed that his next film, ‘King’, featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan, will aim to raise the bar even higher.

On Republic Day, Siddharth shared a heartfelt note on X (formerly Twitter) to mark the second anniversary of ‘Fighter’, which featured Hrithik Roshan , Deepika Padukone , and Anil Kapoor in lead roles. He expressed, “Two years of my best work. Fighter. The film I’m so proud of. Seeing so many scenes on my timeline reminded me how beautiful those moments were. The scene between Patty and Saachi at the cemetery, and the scene with Minni and her father — both are the most emotional scenes I’ve ever shot. They will remain timeless for me”.

The making of ‘Fighter’

The movie is based on a story by Siddharth and Ramon Chibb. It stars Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the main roles, with Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi , Rishabh Sawhney, and Sanjeeda Sheikh in supporting roles. Produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, ‘Fighter’ is the first film in a planned aerial action series. The cinematography is by Satchith Paulose, editing by Aarif Sheikh, and the music is composed by Vishal–Shekhar.
