The weather has suddenly changed in Delhi-NCR. It has been raining intermittently since Tuesday morning. Not only this, hail also fell in Noida around 5 pm today, due to which the cold has increased considerably. The Meteorological Department has issued red alert for some areas of NCR and orange alert for others. According to IMD, the weather is likely to remain like this for three more days.

Today, on the morning of 27th January, it started raining lightly, which continued till afternoon. The sky cleared a little in the afternoon, but due to the strong wind it became difficult for people to go out. By evening it started raining again. This time the rain started very heavily.
Hail also fell in Noida, Kalindi Kunj, Badarpur and Shaheen Bagh areas of Delhi-NCR. Hail falling at high speed put brakes on the speed of vehicles on the roads. After the hailstorm, the temperature dropped rapidly and the cold increased considerably. Talking about Noida, the chill has increased due to hailstorm here. Hailstorm has increased the concern of farmers, because hailstorm has caused huge damage to crops in many areas including Narnaul.
At the same time, sudden change in weather and continuous rain throughout the day increased the problems of common people. People going to their offices had to face rain since morning. A drop in temperature was recorded with rain and hailstorm in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad of Uttar Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, today the minimum temperature of Noida was recorded at 8 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature was recorded at 18 degrees Celsius.
Hail rain increased farmers’ worries
The concern of farmers has increased after hailstorm in Noida and Greater Noida. There is a possibility of damage to the crops standing in the fields in the rural areas around Greater Noida due to hailstorm. Farmers say that if hailstorm continues for one or two more days, there could be huge damage to mustard crops and vegetables.
