Consuming refined carbs leads to overproduction of insulin, which in turn increases sebum production in skin pores, clogging pores and causing irritating skin lesions, such as pimples.


Causes of PCOS: In women, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is a hormonal condition that is also caused by your diet. It has been linked to both low-grade inflammation and insulin resistance. Flour exacerbates already elevated insulin and inflammatory markers in women affected by PCOS. Therefore, it is strongly advised to stop using refined white flour.
