Jio Hotstar gave a big surprise in the world of entertainment. At the beginning of the new year, this OTT platform came up with a bunch of cheap subscription plans keeping customers in mind. This rule will be effective for new customers from January 28. This service starts from just 79 rupees.

Earlier, Jio Hotstar mainly operated as a long-term plan of three months or one year. From now on, you will get the facility of recharging every month. These plans are divided into three main categories — Mobile, Super and Premium.

Mobile Plans: This system is only for smartphone users. It will cost 79 rupees for one month. For three months and one year you have to pay Tk 149 and Tk 499 respectively. Advertisements will appear on this plan. However, if you want to watch Hollywood movies or series, you have to take a separate ‘add-on’. The monthly cost of which is 49 rupees.

Super Plan: For those who love to watch movies on multiple devices, the Super Plan is ideal. Two customers can log-in together by spending Rs 149 per month. The cost for three months and one year is Rs 349 and Rs 1,099 respectively. Mobile, laptop or smart TV – all will be covered in this plan. But here too there will be ad breaks. The big advantage is that this plan does not require separate money for Hollywood content.

Premium Plan: There is a premium plan for a sparkling experience. A completely ad-free service is available for Rs 299 per month. But live sports or live shows will have ads. This account can be run on four devices simultaneously. Three months and one year will cost Rs 699 and Rs 2,199.

The company has made it clear that this new rule is only applicable to customers after January 28. For those who are old customers, there is no reduction in the previous benefits.
