According to Master’s Degree Physician Le Kim Cao of the Thoracic Surgery Specialty Clinic under Edopi Health Care, Cao Phuc Medic Co., Ltd. (Dr.Vein Clinic), the number of foreign patients and overseas Vietnamese seeking vein examinations and treatment at the clinic has increased in recent years.
He attributed this trend to ongoing professional training, the adoption of advanced interventional methods, and facilities designed to meet international standards. As a result, the clinic has built a positive reputation among expatriates, alongside other established healthcare providers in Vietnam.

Bella, a patient from the United States, said that maintaining mobility and physical comfort is an important part of living and traveling in Vietnam. She noted that healthy legs allow people to stay active and fully engage in daily life and travel experiences.
A key factor in Dr.Vein’s clinical approach is the use of minimally invasive technology in place of traditional surgery, which often involves longer recovery periods. EVLA, a technique recommended by international vascular societies, uses controlled thermal energy to close damaged veins from within.
The procedure is performed through a small entry point under color Doppler ultrasound guidance, allowing for precise treatment while minimizing impact on surrounding tissue. Patients are typically able to walk shortly after treatment and resume normal activities without extended downtime or visible scarring.

For spider veins and small reticular veins that mainly affect appearance, the clinic also offers sclerotherapy using internationally approved medications. This method is commonly used to reduce discomfort and improve skin appearance.
Clinical outcomes have contributed to patient confidence in the clinic’s services. One case involved a 70-year-old patient from Canada who had experienced chronic varicose vein symptoms and faced long waiting times for treatment in her home country. She sought care at Dr.Vein with pronounced varicose veins in her right calf, accompanied by heaviness and burning sensations.
Following a detailed clinical examination and ultrasound assessment, Dr. Cao identified reflux in the great saphenous vein and multiple varicosities. The patient was diagnosed with C3 chronic venous insufficiency and received a treatment plan combining EVLA, the Muller technique, and ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy.
