DDA Housing Scheme 2026: Owning your own home in the country's capital Delhi is no less than a dream, but due to skyrocketing prices, this dream often remains unfulfilled for the common man. Giving the first and biggest gift of the year 2026, Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has started 'Citizen Housing Scheme 2026'. The biggest feature of this scheme is that not only are flats being made available at affordable rates, but huge discounts of up to 25 percent are also being given to attract buyers.
Under this new housing scheme, there is an opportunity to buy a house in Narela and Siraspur areas of Delhi. This time DDA has taken care of the needs of every section. A total of 1,712 flats have been put up for sale under the scheme. If you want to buy a house in Narela, then here you will get the options of HIG, MIG, LIG and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) i.e. flats of all categories. At the same time, applications have been invited only for LIG flats in Siraspur. Narela has the highest number of flats, due to which applicants have ample options to choose from.
DDA has kept the prices quite good this time. If you are looking for the cheapest option, then the prices of EWS flats start from just Rs 9.60 lakh to Rs 9.69 lakh. Whereas, LIG flats in Siraspur are available between Rs 11.51 lakh to Rs 11.71 lakh. The price of LIG flats in Narela is around Rs 15.26 lakh.
For those who want a slightly bigger and more comfortable home, MIG flats in Narela are priced in the range of Rs 66.28 lakh to Rs 83 lakh and HIG flats in the range of Rs 95.88 lakh to Rs 1.17 crore. Talking about the booking amount, it is Rs 50,000 for EWS, while it has been fixed at Rs 1 lakh for LIG, Rs 4 lakh for MIG and Rs 10 lakh for HIG. Along with this, a non-refundable registration charge of Rs 2,500 will also have to be paid.
Now gone are the times when one had to visit offices to get government schemes. DDA has kept the entire process online and transparent. Registrations for this scheme have started from 24th January and the booking process has gone live from 28th January. Interested buyers can apply directly by visiting DDA's official housing portal eservices.dda.org.in and selecting 'DDA Citizen Housing Scheme 2026'. Apart from this, under DDA's 'Jan Sadharan Awas Yojana 2025' (Phase-3), the benefit of relaxation is also being given in selected sectors of Narela.
If you have really made up your mind to buy a house, then do not waste time in thinking too much. DDA is allotting flats in these schemes on 'first come first serve' basis. If we look at past experiences, flats with good locations and low prices get booked very fast. The 25 percent discount is a big draw, so you'll want to make a decision before the inventory runs out.
