PM Kisan Yojana : Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) is an ambitious scheme of the Central Government which directly benefits crores of farmers in the country. This scheme is becoming a financial support especially for small landholders and marginal farmers.

Under this scheme, the eligible farmers are directly credited to their bank accounts through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) system, in three installments of Rs 2 thousand each, i.e. a total of Rs 6 thousand.

This scheme is being implemented by the central government and so far not lakhs but crores of farmers have been connected with this scheme. The scheme has become widely popular among farmers as farmers receive the amount directly into their accounts without any intermediaries.

Meanwhile, the Union Budget will be presented on February 1 this year. In this background, discussions have started regarding the 22nd installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. According to the information, each installment of this scheme is credited to the farmer’s account at an interval of about four months.

The 21st installment was credited to farmers’ accounts in November 2025. So looking at the four month gap, the 22nd installment is expected to accrue in February 2026. However, no official announcement has been made yet.

Meanwhile, farmers can easily check whether the 22nd installment is going to be credited to their account or not. For this first visit the official website pmkisan.gov.in. Then click on ‘Know Your Status’ option.

Registration number has to be entered here. If this number is not remembered or not available, it can be obtained by clicking on the ‘Know Your Registration Number’ option.

After entering the registration number, enter the captcha code that appears on the screen and click on the ‘Get Details’ button. After that the current status of your PM Kisan Yojana will appear on the screen. Here you will see your name and installment information. If the name does not appear, it is necessary to check whether the e-KYC is completed or not.

Therefore, farmers should complete e-KYC in time and keep their information up to date, so that the 22nd installment of PM Kisan Yojana is deposited in the account on time.
