Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today addressed the program by participating in the state level contractual employee-officer conference organized at Dussehra ground in Bhopal. Praising the contribution of contractual employees, he said that the role of contractual employees is very important in implementing the public welfare schemes of the state.

Contract workers are strong pillars of governance system.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the contribution of contract workers is as dedicated and reliable as Hanuman ji. Your hard work and faith have strengthened the system of governance and administration. Even though contract workers work on contract, their role in the operation of the systems is very extensive.

He said that in health, education, panchayat, urban body and technical services, contract employees are standing as strong pillars everywhere in survey, monitoring and implementation at the field level. His loyalty has proved that service is greater than position. Contract workers are not just the workforce but the soul of the government. The contract workers are implementing the idea of ​​“Workers will work in the interest of the country” of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh.

Government committed to the rights of contract workers

The Chief Minister said that the state government stands with positive thinking for the rights of contract workers. Decisions regarding service improvement, remuneration improvement, working conditions and future security have been taken earlier and will be taken into consideration in future too.

The government will resolve all the issues while ensuring the safety of the contract workers. Difficulties will be overcome while remaining within the framework of rules, justice and financial balance. The problems will be solved with the coordination of Madhya Pradesh Samvida Sanyukta Sangharsh Manch, Finance Department and General Administration Department so that both respect and security are ensured.

Contract Policy 2023 and major announcements

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that full attention will be paid to the demands of contract workers and many important decisions are being taken:

• The process of merger of 50% on regular posts of contract workers with more than 10 years of experience is going on, it will be taken forward.
• All the paragraphs of Contract Policy-2023 will be implemented in letter and spirit in centrally and state funded projects.
• Corporations and boards will also implement this policy.
• A policy decision will be taken to implement the benefits of NPS, gratuity, health insurance, compassionate appointment for contractual workers in all the schemes.
• Work will be done towards full implementation of CCA Rules 1965-66 for penal provisions.
• The discrepancies related to equivalence in various departments will be resolved within the time limit by a committee headed by the Additional Chief Secretary.
• Equivalency will be decided under the Contract Policy-2023 in the Agriculture Department's Atma Yojana, District E-Governance Society and District Disabled Rehabilitation Centers.
