Victoria Beckham opened up about David's "embarrassing" punctuality and her fondness for dinner parties before their fallout with son Brooklyn. The couple's oldest child recently dropped a bombshell, accusing his famous parents of putting "Brand Beckham" first and manipulating media narratives.
In a series of social media posts, Brooklyn claimed his parents have been "trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn't stopped." He also alleged that his family had shown disrespect towards his wife.
Brooklyn, 26, married Nicola Peltz in 2022. Since then, his relationship with his parents has soured, possibly beyond repair. Born into the limelight while his father was at the peak of his career with Manchester United, Brooklyn has grown up surrounded by fame.
His parents' star power has only grown over the years, with David and former Spice Girl Victoria often rubbing shoulders with fellow A-listers at glitzy events.

However, Victoria revealed that her husband, the ex-England skipper, has an annoying habit of always being early. During an appearance on the US chat show Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last year, she confessed: "David likes to be early for everything.

"We went to a party and we were there before the waiting staff. It's embarrassing at this point," she said. When the host suggested they should start arriving fashionably late, Victoria agreed, saying: "Exactly what I say."
Victoria, despite her reserved public image, has previously opened up about her enjoyment of social gatherings. Speaking to Elle magazine, she said: "I don't tend to go to parties, but if I do go out for dinner, I like to have a drink and really have fun.
"I'm really good value at a dinner party. I want to relax and have a laugh. I like to have fun, and I think that often surprises people."
However, it appears a family dinner with Brooklyn and Nicola may not be on the cards in the near future, as tensions within the Beckham clan continue. Notably, Brooklyn remained silent when his mother was honoured with a French knighthood this week.
David and their son Romeo both publicly celebrated the achievement. David posted: "Being named a Chevaliere de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture... nobody deserves it more than you x We love you."
After the Paris ceremony, David shared several photographs on social media, including family shots and one alongside Vogue's global editorial director Dame Anna Wintour. Romeo similarly praised his mother on Instagram, writing: "No one deserves this more than you xx love you mum."
Brooklyn's absence from the celebrations follows his explosive statement on January 19, which appeared to validate long-standing speculation about family discord since his wedding. DJ Fat Tony, who entertained guests at the three-day event, claimed on ITV's Good Morning Britain that Nicola was reduced to tears after Victoria took the first dance with her son.
