Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav watched the live telecast of the Union Budget 2026-27 presented in the Lok Sabha by Honorable Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman under the leadership of Respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in Indore. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that this budget will strengthen the resolve of 'Developed India', is dedicated to public interest and will set a clear direction for inclusive development. This budget will establish India as a leading center of global development by empowering the poor, farmers, women, youth and middle class.

Strong step towards developed India @2047: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that in the Union Budget 2026-27, special attention has been given to important sectors like agriculture, manufacturing, infrastructure, Artificial Intelligence (AI), education, health and tourism. This budget will play an important role in realizing the vision of Developed India @2047 while strengthening the goal of self-reliant India.

Pro-people budget focused on welfare of all sections

The Chief Minister said that along with giving impetus to economic development, priority has been given to the welfare of all sections of the society in the budget. Adequate financial provisions have been made for strategic development of the manufacturing sector, which will lead to employment generation and industrial expansion.

New impetus to AI sector, textile industry and urban development

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that by promoting research and development in the Artificial Intelligence sector, the country as well as Madhya Pradesh will progress rapidly. States will benefit from improvements in textile industries. A provision of ₹5,000 crore has been made in the budget for the development of cities with a population of more than 5 lakh, while special attention has also been given to the development of small towns and pilgrimage sites. Along with this, medicines used in the treatment of serious diseases have been made cheaper.
