Amitabh Bachchan, who has ruled the industry for decades, is always known for his respectful relations with the media, but very few people know that there was a time when the entire Bachchan family was boycotted by the paparazzi. The situation had become so bad that as soon as Amitabh Bachchan appeared, photographers used to turn their cameras towards the sky.

After this incident, there was anger in the media and all the paparazzi together decided not to cover the Bachchan family.

After this, whenever there was any award function or public event and the Bachchan family was present there, the photographers would deliberately point the cameras upwards. This was a kind of silent protest which created a lot of discussion in the industry. At that time, it became clearly visible that the relationship between the media and the Bachchan family had deteriorated.

However this boycott did not last long. According to reports, the Bachchan family later called the paparazzi for a meeting after the wedding and discussed the entire matter. During this time it was believed that there was a mistake at the security level and what happened to the photographers was not right. After this conversation, relations between the two parties improved and the paparazzi started taking pictures of the Bachchan family again.

This was not the first time that such a conflict had been seen between a big star and the media. There was controversy regarding media coverage during the arrest of Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan. At that time, Shahrukh Khan got angry and distanced himself from the media and banned paparazzi completely. Later, only when the media apologized, Shahrukh Khan started coming in front of the cameras again.

These incidents make it clear that the relationship between stars and media is based on respect and understanding. When this balance gets disturbed, disputes arise, but with dialogue and acceptance, the situation can become normal again.
