Meghan Markle has been dealt a huge blow after it was revealed that employees at the Netflix headquarters have been "giving away" As Ever products. It has been reported that the global streamer's offices in Los Angeles are overflowing with jars of the Duchess's jam products and are desperately trying to get rid of them. This is a humiliating turn of events for the 44-year-old, who first launched her line of food items in April 2025.
The initial collection, which included raspberry jam, wildflower honey, and floral sprinkles, sold out within the first hour of its launch, in which she reportedly made "millions" after they were "flying off the shelves." Fans also sold out its second drop in a matter of hours, but now it seems that the interest in her fruit spreads has dwindled. With mountains of unsold jars left to dust, an insider claimed: "They're literally just giving it away to employees."
According to Page Six, the source said: "Apparently, there are two storage rooms packed with As ever product.
"They're literally just giving it away to employees. One (staffer) walked out with 10 products for free."
The publication claimed that alongside jams, candles, wine and Meghan's famous flower petal sprinkles are being kept in storage rooms at the sprawling Netflix campus in Hollywood.
As a second insider alleged: "There's so much overstock." It was also reported that a majority of the As Ever inventory was moved "long ago" to another warehouse and is not stored at Netflix HQ.
What remains at the offices is for gifting, sampling and promotional use, hence staff are allowed to take home freebies.
This comes after Meghan's representatives were forced to reveal that the As Ever website encountered a glitch after it revealed unsold inventory of roughly 650,000 items.
Last month, it site briefly displayed inventory that included approximately 220,000 jars of jam; 30,000 jars of honey; 90,000 candles; 80,000 tins of flower sprinkles and roughly 70,000 bottles of wine, including sauvignon blanc, rosé and brut sparkling wine.
In a recent interview on The Circuit with Emily Chang podcast, the Suits star refused to share sales figures after her initial launch.
Instead, the Duchess responded: "[We] thought for sure that would at least last for a couple of weeks. That sold out in a couple of hours.
"And suddenly the conversation goes from, at the start of this year, talking about a few thousand jars and lids to, 'We need to do a purchase order of a million.' And that's a huge jump in just a few months of starting a business."
