Airtel has introduced two new 5G plans for prepaid users priced at Rs 399 and Rs 449. These plans come with unlimited 5G data, high-speed internet, calling, SMS and JioHotstar subscription. The Rs 449 plan also offers 30GB of Google One cloud storage. These short-term plans have been brought to compete with Jio’s annual plans.
Airtel 5G Prepaid Plans: Airtel has launched new 28-day plans of Rs 399 and Rs 449 for its prepaid users. These plans offer unlimited 5G data, daily high-speed internet, free calling, 100 SMS, and JioHotstar Mobile subscription to all Airtel network users in India. The Rs 449 plan also includes an additional 30GB Google One cloud storage. The company aims to provide more flexibility and value to data-heavy and entertainment savvy users.
399 Rs plan
In the Rs 399 Airtel plan, users get 2.5GB high-speed data every day along with unlimited 5G data. In this plan, local, STD and roaming calling are completely free and the facility of 100 SMS per day is also included.
For entertainment, it also has 28 days JioHotstar Mobile subscription. This plan is suitable for those users who want to enjoy 5G speed and OTT content in low budget.
449 Rs plan
The Rs 449 plan is designed for users who require more data on a daily basis. It offers 4GB high-speed internet every day with unlimited 5G data. Calling and SMS facilities are the same as the Rs 399 plan.
Additionally, this plan comes with 30GB of Google One cloud storage, so users can keep their files and photos safe. 28 days access to JioHotstar Mobile for entertainment is also included.
Airtel vs Jio
Jio’s Rs 3,999 annual plan offers unlimited 5G data, 2.5GB high-speed internet daily, unlimited calling, 100 SMS, Fancode and 3 months JioHotstar subscription. In the Rs 3,599 plan, all the benefits are the same except FanCode.
Airtel’s new short-term plans offer users more flexibility and instant benefits. This can become an affordable option for data-heavy users.
