The first shooting schedule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s biopic Maa Vande has been successfully completed in Hyderabad. Actor Unni Mukundan will portray the role of the Prime Minister in the ambitious biographical drama.
The makers shared behind-the-scenes (BTS) photos from the sets on social media, offering the first glimpse of the film. The Hyderabad schedule began with a traditional puja held at an auspicious time, following which several key scenes were filmed.
With the Hyderabad leg now wrapped up, the production team is set to move to Kashmir for the next shooting schedule. The newly released BTS images feature candid moments from the set, including director Kranthi Kumar alongside Unni Mukundan.
Maa Vande is inspired by the life journey of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is being mounted on a grand scale with international production standards and cutting-edge technical expertise. The project was officially announced on Modi’s birthday in September 2025.
The film is produced by Veer Reddy M., with Kranthi Kumar C. H. serving as the director. It brings together a powerhouse technical team, including action director King Solomon, production designer Sabu Cyril, editor Sreekar Prasad, cinematographer K. K. Senthil Kumar, and music composer Ravi Basur. The crew has previously worked on blockbuster films such as Baahubali and Salaar, while Ravi Basur gained widespread acclaim for his impactful music in KGF.
