Method 1: Search emails by date


Step 1: Open Gmail

In the search box above, enter the date in the following format:
YYYY/MM/DD


Example:
2022/01/01


All emails of this date will appear on the screen.


Step 3: Select Email


Select all emails by clicking on the checkbox above.


Step 4: Delete


Click on Delete button.


Method 2: Delete emails older than one year


If you want to delete emails older than a year, type in the Gmail search bar:
older_than:1y


You can also use these commands:



  • older_than:6m (older than 6 months)

  • older_than:2y (older than 2 years)


After this all the old emails will be visible.


How to delete all emails at once


If hundreds of emails are visible, there is no need to delete them one by one.


Step 1: Select all emails


Click on the checkbox above.


Step 2: Select all conversations


Click on the options visible on the screen:
“Select all conversations that match this search.”


Step 3: Press the Delete button


Now all the selected emails will be deleted together.
