Some life stories seem almost scripted, yet they are crafted through resilience, faith, and an unwavering belief that destiny will unfold as it should. This is the essence of model-actor Tejeshwar Singh's journey.
Before his role in Border 2, Tejeshwar was already making waves in the fashion industry, being one of the first turbaned Sardars to grace the runway at Lakme Fashion Week. He collaborated with renowned designers such as Arjun Khanna, Shantanu and Nikhil, and Kunal Rawal, quickly gaining attention and landing numerous campaigns.
Tejeshwar, a proud graduate of DAV College, returned as a guest speaker this January, marking a significant milestone for someone who once sat in those very classrooms with big dreams. He excelled academically and pursued an MBA at Panjab University, where a chance advertisement led him to Punjab Fashion Week.
When Mumbai beckoned, Tejeshwar answered the call. He spent several months navigating auditions, advertisements, and acting roles, appearing in TV shows like Gumraah and securing minor roles in films such as Fukrey. He even signed a three-year contract for a show. However, the journey was not without its challenges, including a corporate job during the pandemic that took him away from the limelight for eight months, leading to moments of doubt and reflection.
Tejeshwar had long admired Anurag Singh's storytelling, having watched Soorma multiple times. When he learned that Singh would direct the sequel to Border and that Diljit Dosanjh would star, he created a vision board featuring images of himself alongside Sunny Deol and Diljit, manifesting his dream role. The audition call felt surreal, and he kept it a secret until he was on set. "Hugs with Sunny Deol bhaji and lip-syncing to one of Arijit Singh's last tracks was overwhelming," he recalls.
Tejeshwar was particularly struck by Diljit’s humility, noting how he creates a welcoming atmosphere on set, turning it into a sacred space with his positive energy.

Guneet Sandhu, born and raised in Amritsar, has carved his path to the big screen through determination and a passion for the performing arts. He actively participated in stage performances and contemporary dance, starting auditions while still in Amritsar, often facing rejections due to his location.
After completing his Class 10, Guneet persuaded his parents to allow him to move to Mumbai under the guise of furthering his studies, fully committed to pursuing acting. This transition marked the start of his steady ascent, leading to television commercials and recognition in the industry, culminating in roles in independent films like Ghich Pich and R Balki’s Ghoomer.
Following his impactful performance in Kesari, Harwinder Aujla is receiving accolades for his role as Gurjeet Singh in Border 2. His nuanced and intense presence has resonated with audiences, solidifying his reputation as a reliable character actor.
With a background in theatre from Chamkaur Sahib, Harwinder brings depth and discipline to his performances, which is evident in Border 2. The film holds personal significance for him, as he grew up watching the original Border. "I never imagined I would be part of Border 2 and work alongside a superstar like Sunny Deol. It feels surreal," he shares.
