Prince Harry's charity Wellchild has revealed their decision to stop posting to X. Taking to the popular social media platform, formerly known as Twitter, the charity seemingly posted their final tweet which shared a major change.
Their tweet read: "We have made the decision to discontinue posting on X. Recent changes to the platform mean it no longer reflects our values or the way we wish to communicate with our community. You can continue to connect with us through our other social media channels, where we remain active and engaged". They added: "For now, we will continue to monitor our private inbox on X. Thank you to all our followers for your support, understanding, and ongoing connection. Your commitment means so much to us."
They then shared a picture of the social media platforms where they will be posting, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
WellChild, which Harry has been patron of since 2007, is a national charity giving seriously ill children, young people and their families across the UK the best chance to thrive at home.
The charity's annual awards are held annually, with the 41-year-old having attended each every once since becoming patron.
The 2025 WellChild Award ceremony was the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London last year.
Meghan Markle has attended the award alongside Harry on numerous occasions but did not attend last year.
In a statement ahead of the visit to last year's awards, Harry said: "For 20 years these awards have highlighted the courage of young people living with complex health needs and shone a light on the devoted caregivers - family and professionals - who support them every step of the way.
"Their stories remind us of the power of compassion, connection and community."
During his appearance last year, the royal spent time chatting with each of the winners and their families at a pre-ceremony reception andeven engaged in a play swordfight with balloons.
