Lucknow, 7 February. Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav, while making a scathing attack on the BJP, said that the people of the country are clearly asking the BJP that the “deal” is never one-sided. The people of the country want to know what is the deep secret hidden behind the compulsion to surrender India’s interests.

Akhilesh Yadav said these things while sharing a post on his social media account on Saturday. He sarcastically said, “BJP should tell whether in its compromise-mathematics zero (0) is bigger or eighteen (18) – and according to BJP, 18 equals 0.”

Akhilesh Yadav raised the question whether BJP has any concrete security cover or protection plan other than hollow and jargon-filled words to save the farmers, shopkeepers and industries of the country. Today the people of the country want to know what is the deep secret hidden behind the compulsion to surrender India’s interests. Is this whole matter a one-sided deal like “built there, reached here”, in which the interests of the country are being ignored.

He questioned whether in the name of the deal the BJP government has been forced to merely sign on the “dotted line”. Akhilesh Yadav said that the BJP government should make it clear to the people of the country as to who is benefiting from these alleged agreements and what did the common citizens, farmers, traders and industry get. He alleged that BJP’s policies have been limited to publicity and show rather than national interest.
