Ingredients: Beetroot: 2 medium sized (grated) Wheat flour: 2 cups Spices: Ajwain, red chilli powder, garam masala and salt (as per taste) Tadka: finely chopped green chillies, ginger paste and green coriander Oil or Ghee: for frying Method of preparation: Step-by-step Guide1. Prepare the beetroot: First of all, peel the beetroot, wash it thoroughly and grate it. If you want to make the paratha more soft, you can also boil the beetroot and make its puree.2. Kneading the dough: Take flour in a large vessel. Add grated beetroot, ginger-chilli paste, celery and all the dry spices to it. Keep in mind, beetroot contains its own water, so add water very slowly and prepare a soft dough.3. Rolling and baking: Break the dough into small balls and roll them into desired shapes (round or triangular). Put the paratha on a hot pan and apply ghee or oil on both the sides and cook till it becomes golden.4. Serving Tip: Serve these hot pink parathas with cold curd, mint chutney or mango pickle.
