BJP MLA Pankaj Singh, while talking to IANS regarding the budget session, said that whatever issue the opposition will raise inside or outside the House, the government will answer it with facts. The proceedings of the House will begin from Monday, in which the Governor will address on the first day. After this, the government will present the budget on February 11 and then the discussion on it will begin. The government will face every question strongly.
Responding to the opposition’s opposition to the SIR (Special Intensive Revision) process, Pankaj Singh said the aim of the Election Commission is to purify the voter list, so that names of infiltrators or double voters can be removed from the list. He alleged that the opposition is continuously making indecent comments on the Election Commission and the government regarding the SIR process, which is against democratic norms.
Praising the trade deal between India and America, Pankaj Singh said that this agreement will prove to be very important for the youth, women and farmers of the country. This big deal has been possible under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, which will make India economically stronger. This trade deal will give a boost to the economy and there are many areas where zero tariff will boost trade and investment.
At the same time, Leader of Opposition in Uttar Pradesh Assembly, Mata Prasad Pandey, while talking to IANS, said that in the budget session, the opposition will mainly raise important issues like unemployment, law and order and improving educational institutions. He alleged that during the SIR process, by using Form-7 on a large scale, BJP workers are declaring living people dead and getting their names removed from the voter list.
Mata Prasad Pandey further said that the opposition has made a strategy to raise all the major issues including unemployment prominently in the session. A two-hour discussion has been demanded for a meaningful debate on a serious issue like unemployment, so that accountability can be fixed from the government. He expressed hope that there will be serious and positive discussion on these issues during the budget session.
