Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 139 development works costing a total of Rs 747 crore 91 lakh for Shahdol district from village Gandhiya. These include inauguration of 79 works at a cost of more than Rs 613 crore and bhoomi pujan of 60 works at a cost of more than Rs 134 crore. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of various government schemes.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the overall welfare of the tribal community is at the top of the government's priorities. He informed that in the state, development works worth Rs 98 crore 30 lakh under PM Jan-Man Yojana and development works worth more than Rs 401.56 crore under Dharti Aaba Tribal Village Utkarsh Abhiyan have been inaugurated and bhoomi pujan has been done.
The Chief Minister said that the government has done the work of honoring the legacy of the heroes of the tribal society by including their stories in the educational curriculum.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Shabari Maiya, who immortalized her virtuous feelings by remaining speechless, deserves respect and homage from the entire Madhya Pradesh. Lord Shri Ram accepted the berries of Mother Shabari with devotion, this incident shows the zenith of devotion.
The Chief Minister said that Mother Shabari herself first testing the sweetness of the plum teaches that God is pleased not by rituals but by the feelings of the devotee. The value of a person is not determined by birth, but by the purity of the heart. He said that Shabari Maiya, the family goddess of Kol community, is adorable, worshipable and venerable for all of us. His character and good deeds enhanced the pride of the entire forest dweller and tribal society.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Mata Shabari waited for Lord Shri Ram for years. She used to clean her hut every day thinking that if not today then tomorrow Ram will definitely come. This shows a devotee's unwavering faith in his idol. He informed that the government has established Shri Ramchandra Van Gaman Path Trust and 1450 km long Ram Van Gaman Path will be constructed in the state.
The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh received special affection from Lord Shri Ram. He spent 11 years in Chitrakoot and 11 nights in village Gandhiya. For this reason, Gandhiya has been included in the Ram Van Gaman Path Development Scheme. An amount of approximately Rs 80 lakh has been sanctioned for the development of the village.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced the construction of a 30-bed hospital in Beohari. He announced to develop Sitamarhi Dham as a religious tourism center and to open a new entrance of Sanjay Doobri Tiger Reserve towards Beohari. The Chief Minister said that Mahua and Jackfruit are available in abundance in the area. An Industrial Development Center will be opened to provide markets to the medicines and products manufactured from them and to promote industry, employment and exports.
Along with this, announcement was also made about construction of bypass for Jaisingh Nagar and making sub-tehsil Amadih a tehsil. The Chief Minister said that the public has expressed confidence in the development policies of the government and there will be no let-up in the development of the area.
