Tezzbuzz Desk- Team India’s fast bowler Harshit Rana has given the good news to his fans through Instagram that his knee surgery has been completed successfully. Sharing his picture from the hospital bed, Harshit gave information about his health and upcoming plans. He told that now his focus will be on two main missions – first, his recovery and second, return to Team India.

Harshit Rana’s injury came to light in the warm-up match of the T20 World Cup 2026 against South Africa. During the practice match, his knee condition was so severe that it became difficult to even run on his run-up to bowl. He bowled only one over, and was seen writhing in pain twice as he stopped mid-runup. Seeing his condition, the team management immediately dropped him from the practice match and later he was also dropped from the tournament. Mohammad Siraj was included in the team in his place.

Before Harshit Rana was out of the T20 World Cup, he was in very good form. Along with the ball, he also contributed to the team with the bat. In such a situation, his injury just before the tournament became a cause of concern for Team India. In an Instagram post, Harshit assured his fans that he will soon return to Team India by focusing on recovery.

Apart from this, Team India’s other player Washington Sundar was also out of the team due to injury. Captain Suryakumar Yadav, while giving an update recently, said that Sundar will join the team in Delhi, which will complete the team’s preparations.
