Material


For Kachori:



  • Flour – 2 cups

  • Semolina – 2 tbsp

  • Salt – as per taste

  • Oil/Ghee – For Mohan

  • Water – for kneading

  • Oil – for frying


For Staffing:



  • Boiled Moong Dal – 1 cup

  • Green chillies – finely chopped

  • Ginger – grated

  • Cumin powder – ½ tsp

  • Coriander powder – ½ tsp

  • Salt – as per taste


For decoration:



  • Thick curd – 2 cups

  • Sugar – as per taste

  • Sweet tamarind chutney

  • green chutney

  • Chaat masala

  • Red chillies

  • Finely chopped coriander

  • Chev

  • For this, first of all, mix flour, semolina, salt and mohan in a bowl. Knead a stiff dough with little water and cover it.

  • Prepare the filling by mixing boiled moong dal, chillies, ginger, spices and salt in another bowl.

    Make small balls of the dough, fill it with filling and make kachori shape.

  • Heat oil on medium heat and fry the kachoris until golden and crispy.

  • After cooling, break the kachori a little and keep it in a plate.

  • Pour sweet curd over each kachori, top with tamarind and green chutney.

  • Garnish with chaat masala, chilies, shallots and coriander.

  • Serve fresh, chilled Dahi Kachori immediately. You can add roasted cumin powder on top to enhance the taste.
