Bollywood actor and comedian Rajpal Yadav is in the news these days for his check bounce case, legal crisis and Tihar jail surrender. Meanwhile, National President of Janashakti Janata Dal (JJD) Tej Pratap Yadav has announced financial assistance of Rs 11 lakh to the family of Rajpal Yadav. In a message released on social media, he expressed condolences and support to the family. After the long-running loan default case and the court's decision, this help has come at a time when the actor's family is going through financial and mental pressure.
While sharing the post on social media, Tej Pratap Yadav wrote that he and the entire family of Janashakti Janata Dal (JJD) stands with Rajpal Yadav's family in this hour of crisis. Expressing condolences, he said that this financial assistance will help in meeting the immediate needs of the family. In political circles this step is being described as a humanitarian initiative. Rajpal Yadav's legal case is in the news due to the financial crisis and his Tihar jail, due to which it is making headlines not only in the film industry but also at the social and political level.

After seeing Tej Pratap Yadav's post, many X users have raised questions on him. For example, a user objected to the use of the word 'sorrowful' in the post and wrote, "Why are you writing mournful? He is still alive." Another user has written, "If someone had been poor in his place, he would not have given Rs 1 lakh, leave alone Rs 11 lakh." One user's comment is, "Sorrowful, Tej Pratap ji, no one is dead, he is bankrupt."
Just before the surrender, Rajpal Yadav had made an emotional appeal, which caught everyone's attention. He had said, "Sir, what should I do? I don't have money. I don't see any other way… Sir, we are all alone here. There are no friends. I have to deal with this crisis on my own." His statement is going viral. Fans and people from the film industry also expressed concern over his condition.
The roots of Rajpal Yadav check bounce case go back to the year 2010, when he had taken a loan for his film 'Ata Pata Lapata'. Later, due to non-payment, the checks bounced and the matter reached the court under the Negotiable Instruments Act. Despite years of legal battles, partial payments and several appeals, the court refused to grant additional time. After this the actor had to surrender under the orders of Delhi High Court.
