In an interview with Times of India, Imran Khan said that his relationship with Avantika Malik was not healthy. He told that their relationship started at a very young age. According to Imran, “We both came together at the age of 17-18. At that time we did not understand how to keep a balanced relationship.”

After dating for many years, Imran and Avantika got married in 2010. In 2013, both became parents of daughter Imara, but this relationship did not last long and they got divorced in 2019.

Mental health improved after divorce

Imran Khan said something different from the common thinking regarding divorce. He said, “People say that mental health deteriorates after divorce, but the opposite happened with me. After divorce, my mental health became better.”
The actor made it clear that it was not anyone’s fault in the breakup of this relationship. Both of them were not intelligent enough at that time to understand the situation properly. Currently, Imran Khan is in a relationship with Lekha Washington and is enjoying this new phase of his life.
