Lucknow, 10 February. Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav, while making a scathing attack on the BJP government at the Centre, said that if everything to farming will come from abroad, then the farmers of the country will be completely ruined. He raised the question that in such a situation, what will the farmer grow, what will he sell and how will he run his family with his hard-earned money.

Posting on his social media account on Tuesday, Akhilesh Yadav said that when a farmer does not get a fair price for his crop, then how will he be able to fulfill his social responsibilities like education of children, treatment of elders in the house and marriage of daughters. If it will be difficult to feed today, then it is meaningless to expect savings for tomorrow.

He alleged that no government can run the country for long by harming the farmers. The BJP government should clarify why it is surrendering the interests of the country’s food providers to foreign powers. Sometimes a conspiracy is hatched to take away farming in the name of land acquisition and sometimes farmers are pushed into trouble through black laws.

The SP President said that BJP’s thinking is not about farming and production but about middlemen. Instead of increasing production, this government is promoting commission taking. He demanded that the BJP middlemen sitting between farmers and farmers should be exposed. He said that today the farmer is saying in clear words that he does not want BJP. He claimed that only with the departure of BJP will the future of farming and farmers be secured.
